Boy Scouts of America Troop 230 operates under the Direct Service Council, located in Irving Texas. Troop 230 was founded in 1972 by Americans working with the North Sea Oil industry. The Troop's sponser is Phillips Petroleum Company of Norway.

Meetings:

Meetings for the Stavanger based BSA Troop are held at the International School of Stavanger (ISS). Most of the members attend ISS. Our Troop's meetings are on Tuesday evenings from 7:00 to 8:30 P.M. in the basement during the regular school year. Please visit the calender for more information about meetings and events.

Preikestolen Hike:

Troop 230 went on a hike to the famous Preikestolen (Pulpit rock) with Young Life as a Fall activity and reflection time. The weather was windy and sunny at the top of the 3 kilometer hike. See photos here.
